My name is Colin. I came accross your ad in the Nelson/Salmo paper
regarding your father's art. I have been away from the Nelson area for 20 years now, so have been out of touch with
the happenings here. I just recently heard of your father's passing. The world will definitely miss his presence.
I was fortunate enough to be a student attending the graphic communications department at Selkirk College in Castlegar around
the time that Les was doing guest lectures there. He was an informative lecturer, an inspiring artist, and an entertaining
story-teller. I am glad that i had the opportunity to have met him. Colin
Hey Paul, I knew and admired your Dad so very much, when he had his office under the Smother's Bros suite on
Rodeo Drive and he did a lovely piece for my poem The Box. I've been trying to find him since I went digital, as
it were, and now I see he's passed. Oh dear, My warmest wishes to you. Kendrew.
Hello, I just wanted to say that looking through the prints on this site brought back very dear memories of your dad when
he was living in New Denver. I was there in the '70s, studied with him for the year that I was there,
and saw him in 2005, just shortly before he passed.away. He was a very, very special man with a giant talent and
vision. Kristen Just saying Hi! Paul, I agree with you about your Dad
and the greatest artist of this time. Yours Paul and Wendy
